My big beautiful blonde! Tasmanian Blackwood (Acacia) back and sides with an Engleman Spruce top, gives this exquisitely finished guitar a balance, subtlety, power and clarity of tone that I find excruciatingly delightful. The neck is solid mahogany which keeps the sound alive and further enhances the tone, nut and compensated saddle are graphite and she's fitted with a Highlander under saddle pickup.
I keep the 7th string usually at low A (using a D'Adario .074 phos-bronze) and the rest in DADGAD, DADF#D, Drop D, double drop D, standard or DGDGBD (using Elixir Nanoweb 12-53 but with 13 and 17 substituted on 1st and 2nd strings.
